Engineers, system administrators and trainers travelled to six member-institutions of the Royal University of Bhutan (RUB) to assist with infrastructure upgrades necessary to join the universities through the national Research and Education Network known as DrukREN. The Department of IT and Telecom (DITT) under the Ministry of Information and Communication coordinated with the Office of the Vice Chancellor of RUB to ensure all campuses will receive connectivity to DrukREN.
