From Monday, January 23 through Friday, January 27 NSRC staff and contractors Hervey Allen, Carlos Armas, Antonio Lobo and Phil Regnauld taught workshops on Virtualization and Cloud Technologies as well as Network Monitoring and Management at the Instituto: CICAP (http://www.cicap.ucr.ac.cr/) in San José, Costa Rica. The NIC.CR (Network Information Center of Costa Rica) co-sponsored and organized the workshop with the NSRC.

NSRC personnel Hervey Allen and Steve Huter visited the University of Oregon Pine Mountain Observatory facilities to assist with planning for an enhanced network connection to support improved science at the facility as well as the installation of a Multihazard Network site as part of the University of Oregon Geophysics department Internet of Wild Things project.
